Travelling from Graz Airport to Graz
You can travel easily to and from Graz Airport by bus or train.
Bus
The bus stop is right outside the passenger terminal. Bus 630 takes you to Puntigam Bahnhof where you can change to tram line 5 straight to the city center.
Train
The train station “Flughafen Graz/Feldkirchen” (S-Bahn line S5 to Graz Main Station) is approximately 300 m from the terminal, just a few minutes' walk. Please buy a ticket before starting your journey at a ticket vending machine or a ticket office, as it is mandatory to have a valid ticket on all local lines.

Travelling from Vienna Airport to Graz
Bus
The bus station is located in front of the arrivals hall and can be accessed from any exit. Buses to Graz (Flixbus) depart from bus stop number 06. You can either get off at "Graz Murpark Ostbahnstraße" for a connection to the S3 train to the main station, or at "Graz Girardigasse Thalia," which is located in the city center.

Train
Once you have arrived in the arrivals hall from the baggage claim area, please keep right. Use the exit on level -1 to the railway station and follow the signs to the platforms.
The CAT and the ÖBB ticket counters are located in the arrivals hall. Ticket machines can be found in the arrivals hall, in the passages to the platforms, and on the platforms themselves. The path from the arrivals hall to the platforms is equipped with ramps and lifts for passengers with mobility needs.

You should buy your train ticket before boarding the train. Tickets (first or second class) are available at ticket vending machines or ticket offices and can also be purchased online http://www.oebb.at/en/.
Travelling to Graz by car
Many roads lead to Graz. From the north and south, the city can be reached via the A9 motorway. Coming from the west, you can take the A2 motorway. Once you have reached Graz, you can either take the exit Graz-Nord, Graz-West or Graz-Ost.
Good to know: Tolls are payable when using Austrian motorways and expressways. All vehicles with a maximum weight of up to 3.5 tons – cars, motorcycles and light caravans – need a toll sticker. The “Vignette” can be purchased at service stations, such as those near border crossings.
